Weekly hours may fluctuate depending on business needs. This role is an In-House Legal Counsel II focused on working in Canada’s largest in‑house P&C insurance litigation team. What You’ll Do Here

Work with autonomy in your practice and collaborate with a high‑performing team of lawyers, adjusters, and legal support professionals. Help Intact achieve strategic goals related to indemnity and expense control. Handle a variety of insurance defence files, including property, casualty and accident benefits disputes from beginning to end. Draft opinions, pleadings, affidavits and other legal documents to support applications, mediations, judicial settlement conferences and trials. Independently prepare and conduct applications, discoveries, mediations, arbitration, pre‑trial conferences and trials.
