In House Registered Midwife

Acorn Perinatal Society is recruiting for the In‑House Registered Midwife (IHRM 2.0) program at Victoria General Hospital in Victoria, BC.

This is a hospital‑based role supporting community midwives with:

• triage & inpatient assessments
• induction starts
• labour support/labour sitting
• antenatal assessments & NSTs
• cesarean assist
• patient flow support on L&D

The role is ideal for experienced midwives who enjoy high‑acuity clinical work, teamwork, and hospital‑based practice without full community call responsibilities.

We’re recruiting for:

• ongoing positions
• casual shifts
• short‑term locum placements

Projected compensation by summer 2026 is estimated at ~$75–95/hr with target compensation around ~$100/hr.
