The role of Inclusion Support Worker in our Primary and specialist settings across Cheshire East focuses on supporting children who may require additional help to fully access learning and school life, working on an ad hoc basis across multiple school environments in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The role involves working closely with teachers and school staff to provide tailored support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including social, emotional, behavioural, and learning needs, helping children to feel safe, included, and confident within the classroom. Inclusion Support Workers may support pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, help to adapt learning activities, encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation, and promote independence and self-esteem.
