Indigenous Relations Advisor

Our Indigenous Relations team is currently looking to add a Indigenous Relations Advisor to our growing team, based in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Indigenous Participation, this position will support the successful delivery of the Wasoqonatl Transmission Line by facilitating the delivery of Valard’s Indigenous engagement and participation plan. We are seeking a trusted advisor who has proven experience with environmental stewardship, cultural competency and awareness, training and employment and Indigenous procurement. We focus on building and maintaining respectful, collaborative relationships with Indigenous communities, leadership, and key partners throughout the project area.

Note: This position will be based in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick and will involve frequent travel to including to Indigenous communities and remote locations.
