INDIGENOUS STUDENT SUPPORT WORKER Position Description: There is a position available for an Indigenous Student Support Worker at Clearview School. Applications must be completed online and will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. Reporting to the site Administrative Officer(s) and the District Administrative Officer Indigenous Education, the Indigenous Student Support Worker provides assistance to teachers and other staff in attending to the educational, social/emotional and cultural needs of Indigenous students. They also assist in identifying and addressing situations which affect students. The role of the Indigenous Student Support Worker (ISSW) is to provide identified Indigenous students with opportunities to enhance their cultural, emotional, and social well-being while ensuring their academic success.
