Indigenous Support Worker

JOB SUMMARY: Under direction of Principal, Indigenous Support Worker aids students on Individualized Educational Plans in school-based setting, with flexibility and passion for innovative instructional delivery, including outdoor education, that best meets the needs of each individual student. The Indigenous Support Worker works with students to support all aspects of their education and will act as a role model to students, and will practice empathy and understanding of our students' culture. The Indigenous Support Worker will work collaboratively with the Community Development Department towards the success of all of the students. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists with the development, implementation and monitoring of Individual Learning Plans for students with Individual Education Plans.
