Role SummaryThe Sourcing Specialist is responsible for running the sourcing events for indirect goods and/or services as requested by the specific function, BU or Site as defined by the system workflows.The overall focus of the role is to manage the complete RFQ/RFP process and to select the most appropriate supplier for the intended scope of work based on Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost parameters as appropriate and aligned with the global indirect category strategy.ResponsibilitiesExecute the sourcing events on behalf of the Function/BU/Site as defined by the system workflows in a timely manner.Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value offering for Flowserve with respect to the scope of work and Function/BU/Site needs; balancing Quality, Delivery, Cost and Service.This includes any specific flowdowns or contractual terms relative to a specific scope.Where applicable, finalize contractual agreements such as Price Lists or Teaming Agreements per the specific scope of supply...
