Industrial Engineering Intern

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Engineering Intern to join our operations team. In this role, you will apply engineering principles to identify opportunities for waste reduction, improve throughput, and optimize resource allocation. You will work directly with our senior engineers and production staff to implement lean methodologies and data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Time & Motion Studies: Conduct observations on the production floor to establish standard labor times and identify non-value-added activities.
• Process Mapping: Assists in creating and maintaining detailed flowcharts and Value Stream Maps (VSM) to visualize current state vs. future state operations.
• Facility Layout: Support the redesign of workstations or warehouse layouts using CAD software to improve ergonomics and material flow.
