Industrial Hygiene Officer

 

Operate and manage IH Laboratory and Equipment, assist the Industrial Hygiene Specialist with the implementation of the Industrial Hygiene and Safety Programs and provide day-to-day industrial hygiene support for plant personnel and contractors.

 

Industrial Hygiene and Safety Support


Inspect, test, and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure safety standards and government regulations are followed.
Perform and generate report for industrial hygiene surveys in the workplace, e.g. Heat Stress monitoring, Noise, Chemical Exposure, Local Exhaust Ventilation and Fume hoods, Lighting, Radiation and Ergonomic studies to evaluate health risks in the workplace and IH Exposure Assessment.
Manage all IH equipment, including routine maintenance, calibration requirements, and respirator fit testing requirements, including fit testing and record keeping and manage the emergency plant wide escape packs.<...
