Industrial Millwright Apprentice - Afternoon Shift

The Smurfit Westrock Guelph facility is looking for an Industrial Millwright Apprentice to work as part of the maintenance team. We currently have an opening on steady afternoons - Monday to Friday. Shifts are subject to change based on business needs.

All successful applicants must be able to provide a satisfactory criminal background check and pre-employment medical.

Job Duties:

* Troubleshoot problems on plant equipment and facilitate and determine maintenance requirements. Ability to go to root cause of problems. Perform proper follow-up on repairs to implement long-term solutions.

* Assist with machinery breakdowns on plant equipment, facility, and building. Ability to determine the need for temporary solutions or permanent solutions based on time constraints given by production.
