Industrial Refrigeration Mechanic (Journeyperson or 4th Year Apprentice)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Startec Refrigeration Service is currently recruiting for an Industrial Refrigeration Mechanic (Journeyperson or 4th Year Apprentice) to work at our Calgary, Alberta location (9423 Shepard Road SE) The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial refrigeration systems used in various industries such as food processing, cold storage, and manufacturing. Reporting to the Lead Refrigeration Mechanic, the Journeyperson will utilize their expertise in industrial refrigeration systems to ensure the safe, efficient operation of equipment and maintaining optimal temperature control.Rates are determined based on experience and tenure. The rate for Apprentice (4th year) is $45.81 per hour. Journeyperson rates are determined based on the journeyperson tenure. The range is $53.89 to $59.17 per hour (depending on supplemental rates/premiums).
