Industrial sales representative

One of our clients, a major manufacturer of electrical automotive components, has an opening for an Industrial Sales Representative. Job purpose:

To monitor business opportunities, grow the industrial business according to budget, maintain market share and manage sales for all types and brands of industrial product (for renewable energy like solar PV).

Reporting to: Business Manager: Industrial

Minimum requirements: Certificate in Sales and Marketing or equivalent (NQF 5). Diploma in Sales and Marketing or equivalent (NQF 6) preferred. 3 years as a Sales Representative or similar role within the manufacturing or retail environment. Computer literacy (basic MS Office, SAP, ERP systems and other job-specific software systems). Key Performance Areas: Sales reporting and feedback. Sales operations and optimisation. Customer service and business relationships. Compliance. Cost and financial control.
