Infection Control Program Manager (RN)

The Nursing Department on the Manhattan campus is seeking a full time Infection Control Program Manager to join our team. This position offers a $6,000 hiring bonus for full‑time hires, with a prorated bonus for part‑time positions.

The Infection Control Preventionist is responsible for the management and implementation of the Infection Control program. He/She will also be responsible in assuring consistent observance of approved quality standards of care and compliance with established policies and procedures in the provision of resident/client care.

Duties and responsibilities:


+ Responsible for the management and implementation of the Infection Control Program.

+ Directs and supervises the delivery of nursing care within an assigned unit. Delegates the responsibility for direct resident care to the appropriate nursing staff member. Monitors care to assure care is provided as directed by the resident plan of care.
