The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with responsibility for security planning, coordinating, and overseeing the security during installation, testing, modifying, upgrading, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the network and server hardware and software systems on the installation's network. Responsibilities DUTY 1: Performs services as Information Assurance Specialist and Squadron JWICS Information System Security Officer. DUTY 2: Provides technical guidance and instructions to users and other IT specialists for the JWICS network. DUTY 3: Serves as a technical advisor to management for JWICS.
