Information Technology Trainee

The Opportunity

Lithgow City Council is seeking applications for a keen and motivated person to join their team as an Information Technology (IT) Trainee for a period of two (2) years.

Reporting to the Information Technology Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in maintaining efficient information and communications services to all sections of Lithgow City Council. Your role will be part of a team that supports, assists and advises on communication, technical, software and hardware issues.

For the duration of the Traineeship you will undertake formal training in Information Technology (IT) as well as gaining practical on the job experience.

More specifically, your duties will include (but will not be limited to):

• Provide a high level of customer support to Council IT users including desktop, mobile device and printing support
