Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure Patching & Upgrades

2. Apply OS patches on Unix systems

3. Upgrade storage firmware / controllers (NAS + SAN)

4. OS Monitoring & Troubleshooting

5. Monitor Unix servers for CPU, memory, disk, network usage

6. Fix system-level issues affecting performance or stability

7. Storage Monitoring & Troubleshooting

8. Monitor NAS (Network Attached Storage) and SAN (Storage Area Network)

9. Identify storage bottlenecks (slow I/O, high latency)
10. Resolve LUN issues, mounting problems, storage connectivity failures

Requirements:

• Unix/Linux administration
• NAS systems (NetApp, Dell EMC, Synology, etc.)
• SAN systems (Brocade, Hitachi, EMC, IBM, etc.)
• Storage provisioning (LUN, RAID, snapshots)
