Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure that supports multiple Global Payments platforms.
• Perform system administration and troubleshooting for Linux and Windows environments.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
• Carry out patching, lifecycle management, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Execute changes, upgrades, and deployments with a focus on stability and compliance.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering to test and adopt new technologies.
• Follow operational processes (Change, Incident, Problem, and Service Management).
• Participate in an on-call rota to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, operational handovers and process improvements.
