Injection Molding Technician

• Machine Setup & Operation: Set up molds, start machines, and adjust settings (temperature, pressure, cycle times) for new jobs or ongoing production.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts for defects, conduct in-process audits, and ensure adherence to blueprints and customer specifications.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve production issues, such as part inconsistencies, material problems, or machine malfunctions, to minimize downtime.
• Maintenance: Perform routine checks, preventive maintenance, and assist maintenance teams with repairs.
• Material Handling: Handle raw materials, dryers, and inventory, potentially operating forklifts.
• Process Improvement: Participate in process improvement teams and provide data for analysis.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate production records and communicate with supervisors.
