Injury Prevention Coordinator - Manawatu/ Whanganui

Whānau Āwhina Plunket is seeking an enthusiastic and community focused Injury Prevention Coordinator to join our Community Services teams in Manawatu/Whanganui. This role plays an important part in delivering child safety and injury prevention programmes that support whānau, strengthen communities, and contribute to better outcomes for tamariki.

Working alongside whānau, volunteers, community partners, clinical and community teams, you'll coordinate and deliver injury prevention initiatives, provide practical education and support, and promote child safety messages across your region. This includes supporting child restraint installation services, facilitating community education sessions, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders to increase access to injury prevention support, particularly for priority Māori and Pacific populations and communities experiencing greater inequities.
