Injury Prevention Coordinator

Overview

Whānau Āwhina Plunket is seeking an enthusiastic and community focused Injury Prevention Coordinator to join our Community Services teams in Waikato. This role plays an important part in delivering child safety and injury prevention programmes that support whānau, strengthen communities, and contribute to better outcomes for tamariki.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver injury prevention initiatives, providing practical education and support.
• Promote child safety messages across the region, supporting child restraint installation services.
• Facilitate community education sessions and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Increase access to injury prevention support for priority Māori and Pacific populations and communities experiencing greater inequities.
