Lumentum is looking for a passionate Electrical Engineer/FPGA Designer to enhance our cutting-edge optical metrology projects in Ottawa. Utilize your FPGA design skills to contribute to our high-impact engineering team.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, paired with over three years of experience in FPGA design and verification, especially with VHDL and SystemVerilog. Your role will include troubleshooting, integration of designs, and developing circuits that meet stringent performance criteria.
Key Responsibilities: • Implement FPGA designs for high-speed communication • Verify designs with state-of-the-art methodologies • Optimize and develop electrical circuits for photonics • Collaborate in system integration with various engineering teams • Provide documentation for testing and product management
