Inpatient Medical Coders

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inpatient Medical Coder to join our growing team of coding professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assigning medical codes and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will play a critical role in maintaining coding accuracy, supporting revenue cycle processes, and delivering high-quality coding services.



QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 3 years of recent inpatient hospital coding experience

• Experience with Epic and 3M (Solventum) systems is required

• Must hold an active certification: CCS, RHIT, or RHIA (CIC is a plus)

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or any Allied Medical course

• Strong knowledge of coding clinics and ICD guidelines

• Familiarity with newborn charts coding is an advantage

• Hands-on experience with MS-DRG, APR-DRG, PCS, PDX, and CC/MCC
