Inpatient Medical Coding Trainer

Coronis Philippines is actively seeking a dedicated full-time IP Coding Trainer to join our esteemed team in Pasig. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in training both new and existing coding staff on the latest industry coding procedures. As the IP Coding Trainer, you will collaborate closely with the coding team to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency in coding practices.

Qualifications:

• In-depth understanding of Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, disease processes, and surgical techniques
• Active participation in continuing education programs to proficiently apply ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT-4, HCPCS, and PQRS (if applicable) coding guidelines
• One (1) year of coding experience, with certification in CCS, CCS-P, CCA, CPC, COC, CIC, and extensive training in coding desirable
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential required; Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credential preferred
