Inpatient Physiotherapist

About the role

Southcare Physiotherapy is seeking an Inpatient Physiotherapist, to join our growing clinical team in providing high-quality services on a full-time basis.   

As an Inpatient Physiotherapist with Lifecare Southcare, you will be:

• Providing assessment and therapy for a mixed caseload of patients, including orthopaedics, respiratory, oncology, neurosurgery, cardiology, acute medical, general surgical, maternity and ICU/CCU
• Using clinical reasoning to create and implement appropriate treatment plans
• Providing the appropriate manual therapy, exercise prescription, education and other modalities as per the treatment plan
• Liaising with other Allied Health Professionals, GP’s, Surgeon’s, Physician’s and other Health Care Professionals, as required, to help provide holistic care to patients
• Case management and discharge planning for patients
