Designated General Hospital which provides emergency services, general medical, midwifery services, surgical services including day surgery, high dependency, children's health unit, palliative care, rehabilitation, renal dialysis and mental health services. Integrated teams provide services in community health, community mental health, domiciliary care, palliative care and allied health (including physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology)
Located 384 km north of Adelaide, this city is known for its stunning coastal and outback scenery and has approximately 21,902 residents. This is a new Hospital Medical Officer role designed to provide leadership and support within the medical service. It is suitable for a non-exam generalist, a physician-inclined doctor (PGY4+), or a post-exam Basic Physician Trainee (BPT).
