Job Description

About the Position

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for building Univar business partnerships and growing sales of existing Univar customers by gaining an understanding of all aspects of the customers’ business and utilizing Univar sales processes to uncover and close new business opportunities. This position requires effective territory management and business planning capabilities to implement strategies that enhance sales performance within the assigned geography.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct sales calls via telephone, Microsoft Teams, or Video Chat to increase profitable sales growth and territory penetration.
  • Establish and develop customer relationships by evaluating needs and opportunities within customer accounts and negotiate efficiently to overcome obstacles and gain customer commitment.
  • Develop a business plan to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Show curiosity about industry and global trends.
