Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for an Inside/Outside Cable Technician. This position will be located in Qatarand will be an onsiteposition.

Responsibilities

The contractor shall:

Provide I/O cable plant support.

Perform day-to-day technical operations of the I/O infrastructure;

Install, test, remove and perform OM&S of aerial, underground and buried multi-purpose communications cable (copper, coaxial, fiber optic);

Operate heavy equipment (e.g., cable reel trucks, trenchers, backhoes, chiselers, bobcat, 20k all-terrain forklift);

Comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), AF Office of Safety and Health (AFOSH) (AFI 91-202), and TO-site specific local policies and procedures.
