ABOUT THE POSITION

Portage College has an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced paramedic to join the College’s Faculty of Paramedicine onsite at the Lac La Biche campus as a full-time continuous Paramedicine Instructor. Some of the responsibilities include:

• Classroom and distance instruction at the BLS and ALS levels.
• Preparation and delivery of subjects.
• Assist with curriculum development and/or revision.
• Assist with preparation of internal and external audits.
• Develop exams, quizzes and other evaluation material for students.
• Manage and evaluate student progress in the program.
• Assist in organizing and supervising student practicums.
