Instrument Tube Fitter

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and tubing schematics for accurate installation.
  

• Measure, cut, bend, and fit stainless steel or alloy tubes using hand and power tools.
  

• Install tubing systems for instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic services.
  

• Prepare tube ends and fittings using Swagelok, Parker, or equivalent compression fittings.
  

• Perform routing and clamping of tubes to ensure correct alignment and vibration control.
  

• Conduct preventive maintenance on tubing systems in operational plants.
  

• Ensure proper handling of sensitive instrumentation tubing and components.
