Instrumentation Technician

General Work Description:

Installs, calibrates, maintains, and repairs industrial measuring devices and control systems, such as sensors, gauges, and valves to ensure optimal performance and safety in manufacturing and power generation industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calibration & Maintenance: Regularly testing, adjusting, and repairing instruments to ensure accurate measurements of pressure, temperature, flow, and level.
• Installation & Setup: Installing new control systems, pneumatic devices, sensors and electrical components.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and repairing faulty equipment using diagnostic software and tools.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical circuits, pneumatics, and control system software.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to strict safety protocols in industrial environments.
