As an insulation installer , you will be responsible for the professional installation of fiberglass or rock wool batts in exterior walls and ceilings. Your work environment will vary from project to project, but you will follow a consistent process to ensure high-quality results and safety standards are maintained throughout each installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and logging materials onto a truck
• Erecting scaffolding or ladders to the required height
• Cutting insulation materials to size and installing them in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces
• Installing insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or operating equipment that injects loose-fill or foamed insulation
