Maas Constructions are currently seeking a motivated Insurance Assessor to join our high performing team servicing the Bathurst region.
Position Summary
Field based role assessing damage to insured properties to compile concise and accurate builders’ assessment reports and repair budgets for the insurers to review. Budgets accompanying the assessment reports will be compiled using sound industry knowledge, best practice and submitted in formats agreed upon by the business. Use up-to-date market trade rates to ensure all potential costs are accounted for and initial estimates can be achieved during the repairs.
Supporting the business to meet its repair cycle time targets, Assessors are also responsible for ensuring variation budgets are complete in a timely manner when requested so that repairs on site can continue to completion.
