Job Description


The Intake and Assessment Clinician’s role involves working collaboratively with the child and adolescent mental health services in the region and other service providers to access the most appropriate service/support for the person based on their needs. ICAFS is committed to the use of the CAPA model which is a continuous service improvement model that combines personalised care and collaborative practice when partnering with service users and their family/whanau.

You will be triaging non-urgent referrals from a variety of sources in the community, liaising with relevant services to ensure young people receive safe, high quality and equitable care.

Moū – About you

You will be an experienced registered mental health professional (Allied Health or Nursing) with at least 5 years of recent work experience in a DHB mental health service, an up to date annual practicing certificate, and experience in mental health triage and risk assessment.
