Intake and Assessment Officer

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Intake and Assessment Officer to join our Medicare Mental Health Centre. This role is a critical first point of contact for people accessing mental health support and plays a key role in ensuring individuals receive timely, appropriate and coordinated care.

The position of Intake & Assessment Officer is currently open at our Lismore Medicare Mental Health Centre hub, working out of Southern Cross University. This is a permanent part time position (around 45.6 hours per fortnight including Saturday shift 9:00-17:06, Monday and another day to be negotiated).

As one of the first contact points for people accessing Medicare Mental Health Centre, our Intake and Assessment Officers need to build a positive rapport with a wide range of people, as well as their family and friends.
