Location: Eastern District Headquarters, Hastings. Type: Permanent / Full Time.

New Zealand Police is seeking an Intelligence Support Officer to work with the Eastern District Intelligence Unit. The role focuses on collecting, collating, storing, retrieving and disseminating information for intelligence purposes to support decision‑making and deployment of operational resources.

Key Accountabilities

• Assess and collate intelligence from daily notings and occurrences.
• Prepare frontline support, tasking products and gang validations.
• Contribute to the preparation of core intelligence and analytical products.
• Conduct basic statistical, graphical and geospatial analysis.
• Maintain knowledge of the criminal environment and intelligence priorities.
