Interactive Web engineer

• At least three years Experience in interactive/front-end development and data visualization, preferably in a scientific or science media setting.
• Fluent in HTML5, CSS,Javascript, D3.js and/or similar data-visualization libraries.
• Experience working on user interfaces and sensitive to the needs of a diverse set of users (in terms of accessibility and ease of use)
• Attentive to creating experiences that work well on a wide variety of devices
• Familiarity with WordPress, React.js, PHP a plus.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, an excellent communicator.
• Must be an effective team player and have the ability to coordinate interactive and web development projects with editors, reporters, and art staff.
