Summary About the Position: The Hydroelectric Design Center is the USACE Center of Expertise for Hydropower. We provide superior engineering design products and services to the Nation through expertise, partnering and execution for the hydropower mission across the country. Through these partnerships, dependable and renewable electric generation is available while simultaneously providing grid balance and emergency recovery. Responsibilities Serve as the Design Manager for all customers within the Branch's region of responsibility, utilizing significant communication skills to coordinate with the PDT customer's Project Manager on assigned tasks. Manage and control project schedule milestones and budgets through the planning, design, and engineering during construction.
