Household name PLC seeks to recruit an experienced litigator to work as Head of Claims. This is a maternity cover for up to 14 months.
Responsibilities:
To supervise the team who handles public liability and other third-party claims against the business both civil and from other businesses

Oversee training, performance assessment and technical support to the team

Responsible for the conduct of complex or high value claims

Embed relevant framework and processes within the organisation and with insurers and external suppliers

Provide advice on claims risk to the business and necessary action

Maintain standard documentation, and ensure protocols, court rules and procedures are followed

Manage external advisors
