Intermediate Architect

A mid-sized, full-service Architecture and Interior Design firm in the suburbs of Chicago is looking to add an Intermediate Architect to their team!
Responsibilities:

+ Coordinate with consultants (MEP, structural, civil, landscape, and specialty vendors)

+ Develop detailed construction documents and technical specifications

+ Assist with client communication

+ Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders

+ Conduct site visits and field observations during construction

+ Assist with construction administration related tasks

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture

+ 5+ years of professional experience

+ Ability to jump into construction documents without supervision

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD (required); Revit (required), SketchUp, Lumion (a plus)

+ Applicable projects: commercial, multi-family, single-family, vet clinics, car dealerships
