Intermediate Demand Planner

OBJECTIVES
The Planner's primary responsibility is to proactively plan, manage, and execute activities that balance customer demand with available supply and production capacity. This includes both high‑level aggregate planning and detailed mix‑level scheduling to ensure that production and purchasing plans support the availability of materials and manufactured parts in the required quantities. The Planner plays a critical role in maintaining optimal inventory levels, achieving zero customer stockouts while minimizing the financial impact of excess inventory. Working cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Production, Procurement, and Sales, the Planner leads forward‑looking planning and forecasting across a 12‑month horizon. The role requires strong analytical skills and excellent communication capabilities to plan and coordinate resources (people, processes, and equipment) in a manner that avoids capacity overloads and maintains high levels of customer service.
