Intermediate Environmental Scientist - Calgary

About the role

·Working closely with Project Managers to perform activities such as: groundwater monitoring, soil sampling, air monitoring, test pitting, borehole drilling, groundwater monitoring well installation, surveying, construction environmental monitoring, data tabulation, environmental data interpretation, and coordination with field subcontractors.

·Responsibility for adhering to health and safety plans and quality processes on all work, project and reports

·Writing quick/clear/concise reports, clearly describe observations and work activities in writing, and provide regular and succinct phone or e-mail communications to senior staff, from the field.

Qualifications:

·Bachelor’s degree or technology diploma in engineering, geoscience, biology, environmental studies or similar.

·Minimum of 3 years industry experience, preferably within contaminated sites

·Ability to be registered as a Professional (...
