We are looking for an

Intermediate Underwriter

to join our Commercial Property team in Toronto.

In this role, you will assess commercial property risks, negotiate conditions, rates, and premiums with brokers, and apply underwriting guidelines to provide customer-focused insurance solutions that support SGI CANADA’s profitable growth.

Have a solid understanding of insurance principles, underwriting practices, and applicable products.

Understand premiums, coverages, deductibles, and billing practices for applicable products.

Are comfortable working with technology and underwriting systems.
