The Intermodal Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating container movements between marine terminals, rail yards, and customer locations. This role ensures timely pickups and returns by managing terminal appointment systems, verifying steamship line requirements, and maintaining accurate schedules for drivers and equipment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Schedule and manage appointment times for container pickups and returns at marine and rail terminals using appointment‑based systems
Make and confirm pickup appointments for import and export containers
Verify correct container return locations for each steamship line and ensure compliance with terminal requirements
Coordinate terminal cut‑off times and appointment availability to maximize efficiency and minimize delays
