As an intern in our Phytopathology Department, you will gain hands-on experience in plant disease research, inoculum preparation, and bioassay activities that support global seed innovation.

Make a difference as Intern
You will work closely with our Phytopathology team and be involved in activities such as:

• Assisting in diseased plant sample collection and preparation
• Performing diagnostic techniques (DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, ELISA)
• Culturing and maintaining microbial isolates; identification via microscopy
• Recording data and conducting preliminary analysis
• Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring lab safety
• Supporting ongoing research projects
• Preparing ad-hoc reports as needed
