Intern, Motor Underwriting

Job Summary
As the Intern for Motor UW, the person is required to assist and support the department in the following:
Involve in overall underwriting/administration support for Motor UW team.
Assist in projects and initiatives managed by Motor UW.
Main Responsibility
1.Ensure risks underwritten are within guidelines
Attend referrals from marketers are attended without delay.
Escalate issues to underwriters for guidance
Ensure approval is in place by authorized personnel with proper documentation
Assist in Motor UW review to identify cases with breach of guidelines or abusive of authority given
2.Assist in Smooth Underwriting Process with SOP being followed
Attend to referrals from Marketing officers
Ensure UW tasks assigned are completed within target turn-around-time
Involve in system related matter (Frontend and Backend system)
Update of Make Model, Market Value, NCD details etc.
Involve in updating blacklisted vehicle listings
