Internal Audit Specialist

The role is responsible for planning and conducting internal audit engagements to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance process and ensuring audits are performed in accordance with professional standards and the approved audit plan.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and compliance.
Discuss audit observations and recommendations with process owners and management, and obtain management action plans.
Contribute to the development of the annual risk-based audit plan and continuous improvement.
Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards and practices, including the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF).
Sound understanding of internal control frameworks, enterprise risk management, and corporate governance principles.
Familiarity with data analysis techniques, audit tools, and the use of ERP systems.
