Internal Communications Executive

Role Summary

As a member of Freshfields’ global communications team, you will work closely with the Internal Communications Manager to plan, develop and deliver firmwide internal communications. This includes supporting senior leadership communications, and regional and practice group messaging as required. You will also help build engagement around longer-term cultural and change initiatives such as Diversity & Inclusion and our environmental goals.

The communications team (internal and external) sits within the global Marketing & Business Development (MBD) function. It is a fast‑moving, high‑performance environment where colleagues shape client strategy, run campaigns, manage media, deliver events and help define how the firm is perceived globally. While this role involves a significant element of support and implementation, you will be encouraged to contribute ideas and input to communications strategies, plans and campaigns.
