Internal CPA

Key responsibilities

1. Plan and execute audits of AP, AR, Payroll, Treasury, and GL using a risk‑based approach.

2. Test controls and transactions: sample invoices, payments, collections, payroll runs, and bank reconciliations.

3. Assess segregation of duties and process compliance; quantify risk exposure.

4. Report findings with clear risk ratings, root causes, and prioritized remediation actions.

5. Follow up to validate corrective actions and close findings.

6. Advise and train finance staff on control improvements and policy updates.

7. Use data analytics to detect anomalies and high‑risk transactions.

Qualifications and skills

• CPA license required.

• 3+ years in internal audit, external audit, or finance with hands‑on AP/AR/Payroll/Treasury exposure.

• Proficiency with ERP systems and data‑analytics tools.
