Qualifications and Certifications

The Cowichan District Hospital is a 148‑bed acute care facility that offers a collegial environment among general and specialty medical staff, including inpatient services and a range of specialist disciplines. Construction is underway for the new CDH replacement project believed to open in 2027.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a paid on‑call schedule for consultative services and directive care on medical and surgical wards.
• Provide electrodiagnostic services including stress testing, ECG, and Holter interpretation.
• Manage the 7‑bed ICU on a rotating basis, with a high volume and acuity of general internal medicine, subspecialty medicine, and critical care cases. <...
