Cariboo Memorial Hospital is expanding its Internal Medicine team and enhancing services. The position offers the opportunity to work in a collegial, well‑supported environment alongside a dedicated surgical team, a busy emergency department with approximately 25,000 visits annually, and a strong network of full‑service family physicians.
In this role, you will serve as a General Internist, collaborating in the evolution of our Internal Medicine program in Williams Lake. Key responsibilities include confident management of inpatient care, providing consults in the emergency department, and overseeing the 4‑bed High Acuity Unit (HAU). The HAU supplies high‑level care and is a critical component of the hospital’s acute services.
Subspecialty interests in cardiology, respirology, and rheumatology are welcomed, with opportunities for procedures such as stress testing and ECG interpretation.
